Learning Spaces

A space for every piece, project or student.

A Learning Space is a folder. It holds the notes, recordings, backing tracks, scores and practice log for one piece, project or student. Nothing is buried in someone else’s database.

Audio to stems to notation

Drop in a song. Get the tracks, the key and the notation.

Soundara splits the song into six stems, right on your machine, then finds tempo, key and chords and writes notation for each part. Slow a passage down, drop it a half step, loop four bars. The notation follows.

  • Volume, pan, mute, solo and a loop region per stem
  • Tempo change and pitch shift in semitones, without the chipmunk effect
  • Solo piano, guitar, flute and voice recordings go straight to notation, no stem split needed. MIDI files import directly.

Press start, practice, press stop. Soundara remembers which piece you practiced, when, for how long, and what you noted about it. Six weeks later you can see at a glance whether you kept at it.

Your music lives in a folder.
Not our database.

One main folder you choose, with a subfolder per space. Notes, recordings and scores sit in it as plain files, on a disk you own. Back it up how you like. Open it in any editor. If Soundara vanished tomorrow, your work would still open.

What people ask us.

What does it cost?

Free during early access. Whatever comes later, your data stays plain files on your own machine, and nothing you’ve made gets locked in.

Where does my data live?

In a folder you pick. Notes, audio and scores are ordinary files. No account, no database. You can open every file without Soundara.

Does the AI send my files to the cloud?

Not by default. Delia runs on your machine and works offline. If you want a cloud model, you can add your own key. Then whatever you type, dictate or attach in the chat goes to that provider, under its terms.

What do I need to run it?

Any Windows, Mac or Linux computer with at least 8 GB of RAM. No special graphics card needed. Internet only once, to download the AI models.

Do I need to know Obsidian or Notion?

Not at all. If you already use them, you’ll feel at home right away. Spaces are folders, notes are Markdown, [[wiki links]] and backlinks work the way you expect. If you don’t, ignore all of that and just record a lesson, split a song and print a handout.

Which languages does the interface speak?

English and German first. Portuguese, Spanish and Polish are planned. Some screenshots on this page are from a German build.
